Well, Orca, a few of the posters who are banned at Feelies have asked me not to talk about them because they cannot defend themselves. That seems fair to me, so I can't say anything, really.

When I read your post about clams at high tide I wanted to see what it meant, exactly, so I did a web search. The etymology had kind of a rambling description with something about someone named Lazarus, but certainly not any Lazarus at SI. It also had a little bit about "happy as Larry," which is an English phrase I've always been curious about.
