When Feelies started the whole Coffee Shop idea was new. Those were boom times, and there were quite a few people at SI who were trading like maniacs around the clock. I thought it would be novel to have a place they could come for a break from that, and, um, talk about their feelings for a change!

Of course not very many people wanted to do that . . . but they did want to talk about other things.
