The law requires that people take the necessary action to express their intent. If they can't do that despite all the alternatives, methods, and assistance, their "vote" isn't a vote at all -- it's a nullity, because they didn't express their intent.

Machines sometimes do not always count correctly. Even when the ballot is filled out correctly and the voter did their job perfectly.

E-voting equipment that switched votes from Kerry to Bush. Come on...you know as well as I do that machines are flawed. They can get you a first order count...and that is all. In ohio they require a 3% random hand count to check the machines...but instead of doing that they used preselected batches and cheat sheets. Now why would they do a thing like that? It's illegal...but they do it anyway. That is what you call fraud.

And why does the tech come in and change out parts in the counting equipment...just before the recount check? Oh my! And never a word of wonder or protest from you...so long as the outcome of the election suits you.
