Very impressive title...Do you get stock options?

<groan>

Whenever I happen to notice what my unvested INSP options would've been worth had I not been laid off, my stomach hurts. 7 figures.

I was of the opinion that the fact that I was one of very few employees whose options weren't underwater was a part of the reason I was laid off. And it always irked me when they'd do a "company-wide" issuance of new options, but they were granted *only* to those whose existing options were underwater, so though I worked for a company that was issuing new, cheaper, more frequently vesting options to everyone, I wasn't part of "everyone" because my unvested options were above water. Doesn't seem fair and doesn't sound legal, but preferred to wash my hands of the whole thing rather than test the legality.

No stock options for me here. But I'm the largest shareholder in the combined companies. :)
