I don't especially disagree with this, although I'm watching the various OMO and foreign custodial activities more than rate levels (manipulated on all durations). If Gross is right, then 2005 will be the most monsterous inflationary year for the US since the Civil War, and will be accompanied by a grand finale currency collapse. It will also be the year when Toto pulls back the curtain to reveal a drunken sailor pulling the levers.
