It's the 2001 language from the party now in power that YOU need to deal with. I know, it's really hard to deal with a written record like that- so you are doing what most people are doing with the record, ignoring it.

And BTW- Clinton was right, Saddam DID need to be contained (the rest of the world was on board for that too, more or less). But I don't see Clinton advocating the US going over there to do the regime change for the Iraqis, because that's an "invasion"...
