Steve,

That's hilarious!!! Thanks for telling the story about your encounter. Imagine, the guy thought he'd found some great secret guru in Vegas when all the time it was Brinker who can be found on the radio dial most weekends. Very amusing.

So, this also helps to bolster the case that Brinker (aka Bobbler) is a Vegas gambler who spends his time playing the odds tables. That's how he's doing his market timing too. It's all "market roulette" to him! He's simply playing the odds. I think we're about ready to put a lead-pipe cinch on this Brinker nut.

You know the personality fits too. These crusty-old, cross-threaded nuts that gamble in Vegas are so self-absorbed they think they have some special gift of predictive power that goes beyond us mere mortals. They're gambler junkies just two steps ahead of the mob.

These guys get a lucky streak going and they begin to think they're all powerful and can do no wrong. When they do, do wrong, the blame is never theirs. And it's not enough to just make a gambling fortune for yourself because that's too risky. You need a respectable career in parallel so you can moderate your overall risk exposure and provide cash for the gambling habit. Besides, these lowly rednecks are just begging for tips and will gladly pay homage to a great tipster.

Well, I must say this could be the year of enlightenment where Bobbler is concerned. "Market roulette" is his brand of market timing. There is no model, just a spinning wheel.
