I mentioned to someone in a PM that there's a whole lotta charts with patterns like, say AMAT and KLAC -- a high in early december, sharp down, an ABC type of flattish thing and now sharp down. Is this second down a C or a 3? Was the middle wave too long in time to be a 2 to the sharp downs?

Well, a stock with a similar chart pattern is UTSI. In AH, UTSI is well below 17, after a terrible warning. I realize that FA is different for every company, and particularly for those dealing with China, but that move doesn't bode well overall, imo (much as ELX failed to do well on seemingly good earnings yesterday AH.). Makes me think BRCM is going down....

the freep, who would not be at all surprised to wake up to a giant gap down or a decent gap up.
