Saneron CCEL Therapeutics, mentioned in the last paragraph, is 43% owned by Cryo-Cell (CCEL). CCEL is primarily in the umbilical cord stem cell storage business and is making money. IMHO, their research arm, Saneron, increases CCEL's potential. FD: I own CCEL and am quite bullish on the stock.
I used to follow CCEL a few years ago, until I found out that many of the cord blood banks were being sued for patent infringement, any update on that? Thanks. I think cord blood stem cells, have a lot of potential.
Personally,I'm financially biased towards Macropore Biosurgery, using adipose tissue for a source of regenerative cells. It was developed by the president, Dr. Marc Hedrick. There are numerous "potential" advantages for using adipose tissue.
