Yes, OJ and I have been through some interesting phases. Not so long ago, he and I were being attacked by the Kahunaites for being "irrationally exuberant" bulls and then later on for being "pompous". We came to each other's defence. Then I parted company witth OJ as I felt that the market was showing signs of faltering---and he was an unbridled bull. Now roles are reversing--I am starting to step up to the plate and he is ---do I dare say this about OJ--bearish!!! But I am confident that, sooner or later, at least for a while we'll be back on the same side of the fence--though, who knows for how long.

folks that missed the last 2000 DOW points, fearful of getting because of the predicted correction.<<

I do agree with you--I think that the components needed for a bear market to ensue are just not in place yet. In fact I am quite amazed at the shift in sentiment that has occurred on this and other threads regarding the bleak outlook for the market.

>>I guess I'm simply trying to say that I am very much bullish, but see a change in leadership, when the large caps retrace sufficiently and suddenly become "bargains", the cycle will start over again<<

I agree with you on this as well--the secret is to be able to figure out the next sectors to move and to be on board at the start. What are your thoughts as far as this is concerned?
