Huh? What a disappointment Jay. <Hello Maurice, do you believe in God? You know, the capital G type. >

Is that a trick question? No multi-choice answers?

After <I will now turn my attention to Maurice.> I was hoping for something more. But maybe I missed the point.

Would you please define "capital G type"? I don't really want to start into such a discussion without having some definitions pretty clear. My experience is they go in circles for a while and disappear into a black hole of conjecture, misunderstanding [and if politically actionable, murderous violence - not that I have personal experience of the violence aspect, though I've witnessed the results].

After brian h's heartfelt expressions and your reply, I thought we were really in deep action, with bystander foreigner Mq seeing Yiwu the Mad's Clonesville in action, seeking and finding truth. Then you come out with the G question? What gives?

Please excuse me answering a simple question with several questions and avoiding the binary choice you seemed to offer.

In the way people commonly describe their belief in supernatural spooks, [a kind of ethereal Santa, on their side against the heathens/infidels/pagans/barbarians/heretics/apostates, who is open for business year-round], the answer is no. But perhaps you were looking for something more?
