Re: Gonzales. Hard to say what he did... since they won't release any of the memos (and refuse to claim executive privilege either... they cite 'tradition' for not letting Congress see the memos.) As far as this: "Also, every one of those scholars agreed that the Geneva Conventions DO NOT apply to terrorists as they are STATELESS" I'd have to say that those purported 'scholars' on FOX sound like they haven't bothered to actually READ the Geneva Conventions. The Conventions clearly state that EVERY prisoner is assumed to be covered by the Geneva rules... UNTIL there has been a judicial proceeding that rules otherwise in the individual case. (In WW II it was considered acceptable to have quick military tribunals in the field to rule whether or not the individual was to be accorded the protections of the Geneva treaties.)
