If "faith" is the "embrace of beliefs contrary to reason," then by implication the only reasonable people on earth are the faithless. Yet the vast majority of people in this world belong to some sort of faith. What makes the faithless, i.e. a tiny minority, the sole stewards of reason? This is funny...you want to rely on human traits and characteristics to validate faith ...the same human traits that have led to holocausts, genocides, crusades, and thousands of other unspeakable crimes.
