Has the camera phone upgrade cycle to wane or was this is just a result of some market share shifts? Radio Shack will report on January 13th....if they were down as well, it would be hard to see CDMA handset sales as having had a good quarter in the US.

CC is losing market share, but a larger trend is probably a shift from third-party retailers to direct sales. In Sprint's case, they are actively expanding their direct retail presence, in part due to expanding data services requiring a more capable sales force than a third-party can usually offer. Online sales through sprintpcs.com could also be in play. Anecdotally, all of the new handsets I saw post-Xmas were direct purchases, with the biggest trend being camera phones for youths.
