While the whole idea of these 'loans for execs' programs at major corporations is sleazy, the numbers here in top management dollar terms should not set off too many alarm bells IMO... The morons at Worldcom lent Ebbers several hundred MILLION dollars to help him meet his margin calls on WCOM stock, which was a situation of a totally different magnitude. By the way, it was nice to hear that WCOM directors are actually going to fork out something like 18M from their own pockets to settle claims... Regards, John
