Hello Howard: I hope you found some of the links informative, but I'm actually not a shareholder, and I'm not trying to prove its investment value. I'm trying to determine whether the company is worth investing in or not. For me to buy in now, either the price would have to be lower or I'd need to be more convinced that the company is going to generate substantial earnings. In other words, I'm not attracted by the current risk/reward ratio. I did buy some shares around $1 when I first heard the story about this company, but when the price doubled in a day, I sold. I haven't convinced myself, or been convinced by anyone else, that it's worth getting back in to. Anyway, here's another link I found that gives some general info on deep offshore drilling. It's from Elf, a french company doing a lot of the work off of Gabon: elf.fr regards Mike
