The story is long over -- the issue of whether or not there will be criminal prosecutions and whether or not there will be firings is an afterthought. There was no intelligence that a threat existed -- and none did. It is not that we acted on faulty intelligence -- we acted as a matter of policy and searched for intelligence that might justify that policy. We did not invade Iraq in self-defense.
