Absolutely unfair of you. Maurice and GST are just guys like us. They had no reason to be correct in their guess--same as me.

I was referring to Scott Ritter. He stuck his neck out a long way considering the public opinion at the time. People who make good calls ESPECIALLY when prevailing "wisdom" is opposite deserve to be recognized as insightful at a minimum. People who make poor calls, ESPECIALLY when in positions of power aught to be held accountable. This is Bush's No 1 problem.

Regarding 3000, 1400, and 150K dead. I have long considered the WOT to be much ado about little compared to some of the other issues facing the planet. My chief complaint about conservatives is they only pay attention to mega events such as planes running into buildings (especially when driven by muslims). Now the long term effects of filling the SUV gas tank on the hand....
