major combat operations have ended! Actually thats a correct statement. It's been mostly on the ground fighting since then. War is all about guesses, mistakes,etc. The U.S was hoping to get x number of Iraqi troops ready to defend it's country but it is taking longer than projected. You think it takes a few days to get things accomplished? The U.S will be there for many years to come. If the Americans can accomplish democracy in the middle east, it will be a great achievement. Not sure if it can be accomplished but then it is better than what the rest of the world were doing. NOTHING!
