I just made The Perfect Lemon Scone. Or maybe I should say I mixed it up. I used one of those mixes I told you about, the lemon, and then I added all this candied lemon peel- about 1/4 to 1/3 cup, and then I toped them with about 1/2 teaspoon of demara sugar. I think they are better than most pieces of cake I've had.
