While being "progressive" does color what commondreams.org may publish on their site, the factual or nonfactual nature of what they publish is an independent from their political views. If Karl Marx or Groucho Marx says its noon, it might very well be noon, even if they are a commie or comedian. It is a fallacious thinking to dismiss information from sources one disagrees with simply because one finds the information disagreeable.
