> You should reread your own post. You have clearly lost it. Oh and btw, Friedman writes for the New York Times...you know the one, the voice of U.S. liberals. So I would hardly call Friedman a conservative.
David Brooks and Bill Safire also write for the Times.
Friedman's a liberal on most issues, and shit, he's a "liberal" on this one, too. No real conservative would hold his point of view here. At least before the last few years.
>Again, every time you post, you show more of your ignorance. In addition, your holier-than-thou attitude is revealed as a complete farce when you condemn your fellow posters to "burn in hell" and say "f___ you" and continue to rant with all your other slurs.
>Frankly, it's difficult for any of us to take you seriously.
I take John extremely seriously. Why? Because I'm just as pissed off as he is.
What do you say when 13,000 of your fellow Americans are hurt or killed for a cause you don't believe in and there's nothing you can do about it? I'd probably start with some cursing, too. And I didn't live through Vietnam like John did. I think that this is hitting a little too close to home. Yet, I'm starting understand it. One of my best buds was in the mess hall in Mosul when 21 of his comrades were blown up in the same place two weeks ago. What kind of mental state is he going to arrive home in?
If he gets hurt or killed in the war, you will see me on the news, because I will climb the gate of the White House to try to give Bush a piece of my mind.
I don't know if you're "pro-Israel," but if you are, what if 1,000 U.S. soldiers were killed to fight against Israel, for any other cause with which you didn't agree? You'd probably do a bit of swearing yourself.
This is a horrible, horrible war.
