More about bracelets - and why Richard Cohen is a butthead (in my humble opinion - anybody who quotes Maimonides in order to take a swipe at Lance Armstrong is going out of their way to be a major butthead) - kids are buying them at cost for 59 cents, selling them at their schools for $2-$3, and donating the proceeds to the victims of the tsunami.

And no, my kids don't wear bracelets. In fact, they've shown zero interest in donating personally to the tsunami victims or any other charity.

Now here is a puzzle for you. It seems to me, that if you give to a charity in the name of someone else, that person ought to be able to take the tax break. No? But it doesn't seem to work that way.
