I was under the impression that the dogs were trained to sniff out bombs, not be attack dogs. If they are being trained to attack, then I agree with you. If your objection is only that they are being put in harm's way without being able to consent to it, then that is where my compassionate nature falls short of yours.
In my ideal world, neither dogs nor eighteen year old boys would be placed in harm's way. Even if the eighteen year olds DID consent.
