There has been very encouraging moves by the Dominican gov't to speed up the exploration permits surrounding Pueblo Viejo. But our experience in the DR tells us not to get too excited until the application approvals are in our hands.

If the applications do get approved on the timeline we now expect, acquisitions will take a back seat at EGD. Six months of going through property reports and travelling in Central and South America has not turned up the quality of properties we already have in the DR.

The timeline is still vague on the application approvals, but right now we are very optimistic.
