Here is a typical conversation with Dobry (Y=you; D=Dobry): D: Firetrucks are red, so everything red must be a firetruck. Y: Apples are red, and they aren't firetrucks. D: You are lying. You know apples are also green. Y: I'm saying that just because something is red doesn't mean it's a firetruck. D: But you lied and said apples can't be red. Y: Yes, duh, apples can be green, but that wasn't my point. And, besides, the thing you are talking about wasn't even red. D: So now you are contradicting yourself. Y: No, I was just pointing out your logic flaw, but your facts are also wrong so your argument is invalidated. D: Are you denying that firetrucks can be red? ROFL. Y: What? Show me where I said firetrucks can't be red. I said not all firetrucks are red. I also not all apples are red. D: You ignored what I said about firetrucks and talked about apples. You are twisting things as usual. etc. The point is, you can't have a rational discussion with an irrational person, not to mention pathological liar. Which explains why people like Scionist stopped trying long ago and just post past examples on the theory that those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. - Jeff
