We most certainly broke it and now unfortunately we own it -- including owning responsibility for the terrorists who found this to be a windfall opportunity to recruit and train a whole new generation of terrorists. Hundreds of billions of dollars, tens of thousands of lives and a US army stretched to the breaking point -- oh ya, I forgot, Saddam was a bad guy so it is a slam dunk that this invasion was both legitimate and in our bests interests.
