She was not a saint, but she certainly came much closer to one than any other members of the Windsor family by far. She was an 'insider' of that family. She saw their foibles and character up close. If her goal really was to undermine her husband & his family, they no doubt deserved it. Someone needed to show the English people that 'accident of birth' should not entitle anyone to live a life of luxury on the public dole their entire lives.
