The problem is.......CDMA has its restrictions when service providers won't supply a tower that can accommodate a call right here the US. I have a place in the mts one hour from a major metropolitan area. I can't get cell phone service because it is mountainous and the signal is blocked. The population is small in comparison to other areas, but that doesn't mean I might not need to contact someone in an emergency. Are the resources so limited that my area has been looked over for more a more lucrative market?

I've been tempted to call the VZ service dept to ask what it would take to install another cell tower that would catch the signal in this area and hand it off further down valley, but I know that would be like calling a butcher to order milk.
