what i understand and not very well. is broker's sell naked shorts. starting this week this will no longer be accepted or only to a certain % not sure.. Each night a list will be released to public of naked shorts open that have to be covered. Since brokers sold these without holdings stocks to short they must buy stock in market to cover the naked shorts. Cramer/s column per a poster here on si reads they talked with a hedge fund who plans to force these guys into a tail spin by buying up more stocks and making less available to cover. Thereby at end of week we may have some really inflated stock prices. If stocks run fast it may be the correct thing to take profits and get out of the way. gg

Of course this could all be blown up and not much much happens. Lot's of talk on tasr threads on various sites saying no stock available for these brokers to buy back and it will raise prices on tasr,, siri? etc. cree could be another one which has a large short position , but do not know how much is naked shorts...
Maybe someone else can better explain since i do not deal in options etc either.. got hard enough time trying to buy and stock and sell a stock that's why i am hanging out here!
