Getting back to the idea of making money, I am considering shorting Adobe ADBE or buying puts, and buying puts on Research in Motion RIMM.

A newsletter from Martin Pring, a well respected technical analyst, says it appears commodities are heading into a bear market. Might be a short, 6 month bear market, but a bear market.

He tracks the CRB index weighted in USD, Yen and Euro.

For the long side, I still like CCJ (just split 3 for 1), PD, and even CP Canadian Pacific.

CCJ and PD charts are good.

CP has a weak chart - there is some Canadian Dollar vs. USD factor draging CP down.

EF, a closed in fund that invests in Europe, is doing okay, still has some discount to NAV.
