I'm okay with tort reform when it comes to doctors, and absolving them of liability except with respect to cases of gross negligence.

For example, cutting off the wrong foot, imo, should always be actionable. The cutting off of limbs doesn't take a great deal of education and expertise, barbers used to do it, and I imagine even a layperson could tell which foot needs cutting off. Cut off the foot that looks unhealthy, leave the healthy-looking foot alone.

But the doctors need to give a little, too. In exchange I would like for 200 new medical schools to be established in the US during the next five years, or 40 per year.
