Cooters, thanks for your post.

First, I would guess that SNDK would not start a second MP3 line unless the first line
had done extremely well. That is to say, I suspect they sold a lot more MP3's than one
might guess, especially since the iPOD price point is relatively high for most
teenagers. I am still reluctant to say they actually made a profit on them though.

Second, despite 87 million phones in 2004 with card slots I still have not heard any news
to suggest that these slots contributed significantly to SNDK's bottom line. Are these
slots still empty as we speak???
