The ice is already inside the water, how can it make sea level raise? Also note that water when going solid increases in volume, that why beer bottles burst when put in the dep freezer. But water when melting shrinks in volume.

Second cold water, resulting from the melting ice will go down bringing warmer water up, this, which effects ocean currents is what could be studied. NOT sea levels.
