What did the CDC say about people like us? The briefing I attended was focused on understanding the threat Smallpox posed in 2002 and the need for all local medical organizations and associations to make a plan to cope with a Smallpox induced mass casualty situation. The focus was not on the vaccination process although some discussion on that came up during the Q&A. In every Smallpox discussion I've been in someone always has questions about the vaccinations efficacy. Try www.cdc.gov for answers. They greatly expanded the website about two years ago. It is full of info and kept quite current. Go to the "Emergency Preparedness and Response" section for bio terror info. Lots of current info also at www.redcross.org and www.cia.gov/index.html
