We also note that a Vodafone Germany spokesperson was quoted in the German press as saying that Vodafone had surpassed 100,000 WCDMA subscribers in Germany, which was ahead of the company's expectations.

100,000 W-CDMA subs seems like a good start....especially considering the fact that German handset prices are considerably higher than those in the UK.

Considering those handset prices, it wouldnt seem like much of a stretch to think that VOD has close to a half million W-CDMA subscribers across Europe.
