"I would expect Israel to end its occupation and remove its illegal settlements. That is not a concession to terrorists -- that is living up to your responsibilities to make peace."

Infitada was started to cover arafats ass with the europeans after rejecting a reasonable offer that most Pal leaders were willing to accept, including the new PM. Imagine how much further along we would be if arafat had accepted the barak/clinton offer. Ask any Pal excluding the terrorists--they would take the Clinton/Barak offer in a heartbeat, now. Thats the problem with the Pals--they always accept the last offer after they start and lose another war. Where we might agree is that I think Israel needs to go back in time and pick up more or less where was left off. But there can never be peace unless the terrorists renounce terror. Israel can make no concessions until this threat is largely removed. Mike
