I'd much prefer if the box were checked by default - surely that's the way virtually everyone is going to want it.

Right now if you change the sort order, the box gets unchecked again, and so you have to re-check it and hit refresh - all very confusing.

Also, you need some sort of indicator as to what column you are currently sorted by. I'd still suggest "Activated Members" as the default sort - that's historically corresponded to the top 50 list.
