It has a similar signature to what we've seen from the recent Sumatran event. It has to do with the rate of propagation of the various P and S waves and the occurrence of aftershocks. * Re: sharp spikes of magnitude 2.1-2.3, and similar to those which were seen and therefore I have to abide by the opinion of the geophysicists at Palisades who considered them to be similar to others of man-made origin. The collapse signatures on 9/11/01 were similar to the signatures of a major (oil & gasoline) tank farm explosion in Bayonne, NJ a few years previously.
