You are absolutely correct. If only we could lose the ideology and strive for truth. I will admit openly that i have been guilty of not doing this too. Will you? Will you tone down the sarcasm a bit? There are large areas of agreement in the center. For a starter, Bush-speak on fp is sounding almost comical to me at this point. He is going to have trouble with the right wing of his party which is not as idealist on fp as it is ideological. And his SS reform attempt will fail as bad as Billary health care. And he is only beginning term 2 whereas billary was only in office for a month or two when they blundered. Again naive idealism over pragmatism in this case. MIke
