Not at all. It's is the SSA actuary's best estimates that the SS Trust fund will be tapped out by 2042. There's another congressional estimate that says 2052. Take your pick. Either way, if you spend more in benefits than you bring in in contributions, you will eventually deplete your reserves. What is it about elementary math that you don't understand?
