well if CNBC has a "boring format" for investment news, then surely FOX or some other right-wing Bush loving network could pick up the spoils, no? After all, financial news caters to the most lucrative demographic.

Except FOX has scaled back on financial reporting, and CNN-FN has shut down.

No, I think the problem is the markets stink, and have stunk for years. In Clinton's time we had corrections. Now, we have brutal bears that never end. Bush is just a downer, thats the reality.

BTW Reagan was also a great president for the markets. This is not a partisan issue, it is a competancy issue and when you have an idiot child for a president, with no negotiation skills and a preclusion to spend you into oblivion, the markets don't like it.
