You are neglecting the most crucial element. Israel won. The Pals have not. Those how win no longer need terror, it becomes a liability. Those who have not yet won still employ terror.

So it's underdogs who need terror? Do you know any Mideast history at all? Do you seriously think that the Zionists & Israel spent the period from 1920 to 1967 as top dogs? (Or even the period after, but that's another discussion) Too funny.

When the Arabs chose terror in 1936 - 39, who was top dog? When 5 Arab armies, outnumbering the Zionists by 6 to 1 (by more if you count guns), attacked in 1948, who was top dog? When Israel was 9 miles wide at Netanya and Jordan was sending in fedayeen guerillas to do terror attacks, who was top dog? In 67, when Nasser moved 14 divisiona and 800 heavy guns into the Sinai, who was top dog? (Or even 1967, but that's another discussion).

Yet for some reason, the Arabs chose terrorism right away, while the Jews (with few exceptions) did not. Those funny Jews, they objected to the idea.

Before you display any more ignorance about Lod, I suggest you go read some actual history of the Israeli War of Independence, to get some idea of the balance of forces, the strategic importance of the Lod area, and what would have happened to the Jews of Palestine had they lost (for hints, examine what had just happened to the Jews of Europe). You might also consider acquiring a sense of proportion by examining what happened to about 800,000 Jews who had lived in the Arab lands since long before the Arabs arrived.
