It's really interesting, David. We have a few posters on this thread that find it very difficult to engage in intelligent discourse without resorting to insults. Either they are young and immature, or they simply lack the intelligence to debate convincingly, and therefore, find the need to fall back on insults.

It must be frustrating to be wrong. Invalidating the opposition by calling them immature or young or less intelligent becomes a necessity. You've taken a page right out of DR's book.

Most of what he posted on this thread was outright wrong or terribly misguided. He was certain that Iraq would be wrapped up quickly. He was sure we would find WMD. Annoyingly, he was terribly arrogant in his wrongness. That's why I refer to him a pompous idiot. And that was being kind.

You all want to practice business as usual. You can do that when you attack a Saddam in Kuwait. But it doesn't work fighting in the jungles of Vietnam or on the mean streets of Baghdad. Sadly, those in power can't seem to get that simple concept.

You all have earned the derision being heaped on you. If you're man enough to start a war in Iraq, you should be man enough to admit when you are wrong.
