Re: I think it is you who are misreading.
On second thought, you might be right --insofar as I do liken George W. Bush to Julius Caesar... Both, after all, are the scions of wealthy, patrician families. Julius Caesar may have been assassinated because he cared too much about the plebs yet he was no Spartacus. Likewise, President Bush also cares about his less fortunate fellows as when he slapped an extra tax on European steel --to protect US steel producers. Or when he granted the Pentagon huge appropriations --but the Pentagon and its military bases and suppliers are basically one, big pork barrel for thousands if not millions of American workers... And then, look at the Bush administration: Mineta, Chao, Paige, Rice, Powell,... all minorities. How, do you think, would Caesar's entourage have reacted if their emperor had appointed "barbarians" as his top advisers instead of blue-blooded patricians?
Now, there is indeed a key difference between Julius Caesar and George Bush: the former was assassinated out of a domestic power struggle (the plebs vs the patricians) whereas the latter might meet the same fate over the issue of Israel/Jerusalem and not because of the falling dollar or the outsourcing to China. Just like JFK, btw: JFK too was assassinated out of ideological motives...
