There's no "order of battle" between Oz and NZ. I wonder if you wonder why China would want to have such a war resulting in many dead, more than likely, not to mention lots of destruction. Because they are control freaks. But the Chinese are not the only ones that suffer from that. Almost anyone that seeks power, seeks to control others. Republican candidates for office run against more government. But once they get into office, they create a bigger government. They intervene in other peoples problems. If the Chinese let things run its course, Jay will be right. China will have enough influence over Taiwan to be able to have control over Taiwan. That is inevitable. And, that is what I believe will happen. Possibly including renovation of the Three Gorges Dam according to rumour, which would be a BIG problem. But, there are always trouble makers proposing big trouble. Ergo, push comes to shove - the stupid cycle seem endless. I don't see your type of thinking as part of any solution. It is just a part of the stupid cycle.
