rupert, here you go:

The pattern held perfectly.

I was negative on flash ever since the INTEL actions were reported, because it was pretty clear to me that they could price their flash at any price without taking an overall hit worth mentioning. I closely watched other flash players as well and shared the info, like

I got less enthusiastic about CPUs as well, since the progress on several fronts there was/is way too slow (my ramp concerns,
my posts about dissapointing uptake in the US, the total lack of a mobile response etc.) to counterbalance the rapid flash decline I was fearing, and simply much slower than I originally expected. That is not doom and gloom, that is
now a fact. It´s not enough. I expected them to do well last quarter in CPUs, simply because they said so. Hopefully they´ll deliver there at least in a somewhat consoling manner.

All this didn´t keep me from selling though, and I´m just as dissapointed as everyone else that they don´t seem to have any control, or foresight at all about a business where they prided themselves with being No.1 for a short period of time.
