Tim, It is assault weapons that the NRA did not support, but on a personal basis, I consider a fully automatic weapon to be meant for one action only. To wage war, or participate in battle. If one cannot adequately use a semi-auto weapon for his personal needs, he doesn't really know how to handle a gun in the first place.

I don't intend to step on anyone's toes, but that is my opinion.
