a recount by your narrow definition might be only to count ballots that have already been counted, though I question the need to count ballots that have already been counted.

by law, every ballot needs to be counted, even ballots that missed a first count by error. The Supreme court was clear on that one remember?

Even made clearer by the court that up and until the vote is certified all ballots are to be counted.

It was not just King County that found ballots between the counts. Almost every county found more ballots to count. Not counting King County, there were more than 1000 ballots found in other counties.

Almost every county had a discrepancy between the number of votes and the number of signatures. Sometimes people forget to sign in. This isn't a King County problem.

And it's not just a problem with this election, it's happened in almost every election that's gone before. Often there are more votes than logged voters.

The republican mantra is to whine and whine...when they are behind, and then to yell concede concede when their ahead.

No matter that a few weeks ago the election was good good...Rossi was ahead. Now that he behind, the election is bad bad. Which is it?

What a bunch of hooey!
