Elections Schmelections. Elections (ask the Ukranians and the Floridians) only matter when they are done WELL. They're only a mechanism of democracy and they can be good, bad or totally meaningless.

Saddam giggled that he received some 96% of the vote last time when the time before he had received some 98% of the Iraqi vote. By Bush's definition of en election, he toppled a sovereign, democratically elected government.
